The group will be shown a brief clip from 'The Morning Show' which portrays an interaction The group will be shown a brief clip from 'The Morning Show' which portrays an interaction between a family that displays a quite realistic example of a dysfunctional family system.

This exchange will be the basis of the group creating a 'Family Map' as part of an experiential exercise. While each person in the group creates their own Family Map, we will collaborate together as as various aspects of Structural Family Systems are explained and described.

Participants will see how constructing a Family Map for couples, individuals and families provides a rich understanding of a family member's experience. Furthermore, maps can provide clear treatment goals and indicate what interventions need to be executed by the therapist.
